Audio engineering in the new Ford Mustang here at Lamarque Ford in Kenner, LA allows you to control how loud the sound from the exhaust gets. It is one aspect of motor vehicle engineering that engineers do not take into consideration, but Ford decided to give it a shot. The system comes down to computerized sound control.
Press the MyMode button on the steering wheel, and it will show you Exhaust Mode on the console. You can then choose the mode you want for your car between the four modes offered. Pick between Quiet Mode, Normal Mode, Sport Mode, and the Track Mode. Normal Mode is ideal for all driving conditions, whether around the city or on the highway. There are conditions that require silence, such as when you are starting your car at the crack of dawn, and others that require your car to roar, such as when you are on the racing tracks – adjust accordingly.
