Tire Rotations Keep Your Car on the Road

All car manufacturers and dealers as well as tire salesmen will tell you that it is important that you rotate your tired every so often. The main reason is so that the tires wear out evenly from use.

The tires will last longer by periodically rotating the tires. Of all the maintenance things that get neglected the most on vehicles, tire rotation is the most skipped. It does not matter if your vehicle is an All Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicle, a 4x4 model, a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) or Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) model, the tires should all be rotated from time to time. The vast majority of vehicles have FWD or an AWD system. The tires on the front and the tires on the back should be the same size and make. It is recommended that your tires are rotated from every 10,000 miles to 15,000 miles. A good rule of thumb however is to rotate them twice a year.
